Mesa Temple
While the Museum sleeps
It wasn't exactly a night with Ben Stiller and the T-Rex chasing a bone around the museum, but the Mesa Natural History Museum was dino-mite!
Dino mountain.
Big T checking out Danny, Danny training Big T.
Perfect scale for maximum enjoyment.
Panning for gold, not so successful.

Moments of Faith: child of light
Two instances this week gave me a glimpse into the tender, yet very mature, spirit that lives within my child of bright eyes:
Sunday as we walked into the foyer of the Church, Faith immediately pointed to the picture ahead of her, "Jesus! Jesus! Mommy, it's Jesus!" Yes, I confirmed for it was a picture of Christ. She took another moment to look about and saw the next picture. "Mommy, another Jesus! Jesus is here." Yes, I affirmed, Jesus is here.
Wednesday evening as we were doing our family scripture study, Faith was being her normal restless self. Josh has already given the 'picture lesson' as he does so he feels the kids are getting something from the Book of Mormon, and then he continued to read from Enos, upon my insistence that the children need to hear the words of the scriptures. As Josh began reading the account of Enos praying to the Lord to know if he was heard, Faith bridged herself from her bed to the arm of the rocking chair in which Josh was reading. She casually put her chin cupped in hands and glanced at the pages, looking more like the Ceshire cat than interested in the words Josh was reading. Then, out of the blue, just as Josh was reading in vs 11 'and after I, Enos, had heard these words...." Faith interjected "He speaks to me." Both Josh and I paused to look at her. She sweetly looked at us and said "I hear His words, He speaks to me." We prompted a little, 'Heavenly Father answers your prayers.?" "Yes." Faith replied in full confidence, "He speaks to me." That was the best sciptural lesson we could hope for.
